Founders and small teams can monitor fake domains, trademark conflicts and copycat apps, with each match investigated before it arrives.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — notolens, a brand protection software company, today announced the launch of its self-serve monitoring service and remote MCP server. notolens watches new domain registrations, trademark filings and app stores for names that copy a brand. It investigates each match before it reaches the user and attaches a risk score from 0 to 10 with a plain-language summary. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that connects AI assistants such as Claude and Cursor to outside tools, users can review and triage those matches from the AI agent they already work in.
Impersonators register lookalike domains, file conflicting trademarks and publish copycat apps to phish customers or trade on an established name. Typosquatting, the registration of misspelled or slightly altered versions of a brand’s domain, is a common starting point. Enterprise brand protection suites are usually sold through quote-based contracts, and many lower-cost tools deliver a list of similar names that still has to be investigated by hand. notolens is built for startups and scaleups where brand protection falls to a founder, an operations lead or a security generalist.
Domain monitoring
notolens checks new registrations daily across 1,570 top-level domains (TLDs), covering typos, lookalikes and the brand inside longer names. For each domain match it visits the live site, captures a screenshot and checks more than 50 signals. These include whether the domain is parked, how its mail is configured, where it is hosted and whether a sign-in form sends credentials to another host, such as a Telegram bot. Closed domain matches that reappear return to the inbox. More on domain monitoring: https://notolens.com/domain-monitoring
Trademark monitoring
notolens monitors new filings at the USPTO, EUIPO and WIPO across all 45 Nice classes, with no per-class fees. The Nice classes are the international system trademark offices use to group goods and services. Each filing is scored and explained with its class overlap, its owner and, where the office publishes one, the opposition deadline. App store brand protection
notolens checks the top 90 results on the US Apple App Store and Google Play daily for copycat apps. It records each listing’s developer identity, installs and ratings. More on app store brand protection: https://notolens.com/app-store-brand-protection
Dashboard, daily digest or AI agent
Matches arrive in a web dashboard and a daily email digest. Through the notolens MCP server, an AI agent can read matches, records, screenshots and evidence PDFs, update triage status and track takedowns in conversation. The agent acts only through the user’s own account, and notolens never dismisses a match on its own.
Takedowns are self-guided. Each match lists possible next steps with verified abuse contacts. An evidence PDF records only observed facts, such as the probed URL, the capture time and the register link. notolens does not submit requests on the user’s behalf and charges no per-takedown fees.
“A list of similar names is only the start. Someone still has to open each site, check who is behind it and decide whether it matters,” said Sebastian Graef, founder of notolens. “We built notolens to do that work first, so a founder can make the call from the dashboard, the daily digest or the AI agent they already use.”
Pricing and availability
notolens is available now with published monthly pricing and no sales call required. The Domain Monitor plan costs $29 per month and covers one brand with one primary domain. The Brand Monitor plan costs $99 per month and adds trademark and app store monitoring for the same brand in one inbox. MCP access is included on every plan. Custom plans are available for multi-brand portfolios and IP law firms.
