At OG Health, a concierge primary care clinic in Greenwood Village, Veterans Day is a family affair. Owner Dr. Ozzie Grenardo and his office manager both come from military families, and this November they are paying tribute to the loved ones who served and to every veteran in the community.
Dr. Grenardo’s parents, John and Helena Grenardo, both served in the U.S. Army and were honorably discharged. “My parents taught me that service isn’t a job title, it’s a way of life,” said Dr. Grenardo. “My father is no longer with us, and my mother is living with Alzheimer’s, so I understand how much compassionate care means to aging veterans and the families who support them. The way I care for my patients comes straight from the example they set.“
The service runs through the OG Health team as well. The clinic’s practice manager, Breanna Jones, is the granddaughter of a Navy lieutenant who served in World War II and later spent many years in the Shore Patrol in Hawaii. Her grandparents through marriage served in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army, including service at the Pentagon. “Veterans Day holds a special place in my heart,” said Breanna. “It’s a chance to recognize the families behind every service member, too.”
That shared legacy shapes OG Health’s approach to medicine: personal attention, unhurried visits, and treating every patient like family. The clinic thanks every veteran in Greenwood Village and the surrounding area, along with the spouses, children, and caregivers who serve alongside them. Veterans Day is observed Wednesday, November 11.
